Your therapist has case supervision with a supervisor where a broad outline of your case may be discussed, as part of the supervisory process. This supervision is mandatory for all therapists, no matter how experienced they are.

OUTCOME MEASURES
Your therapist uses various measures in order to gauge your response to treatment. If you are happy to do so, you may be asked to fill out some brief questionnaires before and after therapy sessions. These questionnaires help the therapist understand your needs, your past and present strengths and how best to help.
Your personal details and the information from the questionnaires will be treated as strictly confidential and in accordance with the terms of the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR 2018.
NOTES REGARDING TELEPHONE & ONLINE THERAPY
Evidence indicates that online sessions can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy. Telephone (audio only) and online (video and audio – which we can offer via ‘Zoom’ and ‘Microsoft Teams’ platforms). Use of these platforms adds an element of insecurity in relation to the confidentiality of information that is beyond the control of both yourself and the therapist.
