Embarking on personal therapy can sometimes seem daunting, but generally clients settle comfortably into our pleasant relaxed setting, and usually find it surprisingly easy to share their thoughts.
We see clients face-to-face in our Counselling Centre in Brecon - or online (i.e. using Zoom).
Our sessions last for about 50 minutes and most people choose to see their counsellor weekly. However, sometimes meeting fortnightly is enough (the frequency of sessions can be negotiated with your counsellor).
We recognise that everyone has different needs, so it is difficult to say how many sessions you will require, although we generally find that at least 8-10 sessions are needed (often more). You will usually negotiate with your counsellor regarding when therapy should end. But you can choose to end your therapy at any time.
